We've missed you.
We launched the first ZoomCare on Albert's Birthday May 18, 2006 and for the next decade or so we devoted nearly every waking hour to caring for the people of Oregon and then Washington.
Back in those days before ZoomCare, doctors worked out of hospitals or office buildings. There were no neighborhood or retail clinics. No telemedicine. You would walk in and wait - or schedule far in advance. Our diagnosis was that healthcare was centered around doctors and hospitals and our treatment was to make the patient the star of the show. We lived and breathed our mission to "compress time and space between people and their care". ZoomCare invented or elevated the details that our communities came to love: same-day scheduling, mini-pharmacies on site, immaculate neighborhood locations, transparent pricing, and more.
Over the past few years, we've been hard at work inventing new and better ways to care for our community. We didn't want to do something that was good. We wanted to do something great - something with the potential to fundamentally solve our hopelessly dysfunctional "health system" ; something that truly places people at the center. Meet Cody, your AI Doctor. CodyMD is a partnership between Human Doctors and AI Doctors. We are truly better together. Please give us a shot. We aim for perfection. Expect it and demand it. Yet know that Cody is truly getting better every day, every hour. Please come with us and stay with us on our journey to do this big and important thing in the world.
Our Promise at ZoomCare was "Twice Half Ten: Twice the Health, Half the Cost, Ten Times the Delight." We didn't quite get there, but Cody will, or at least we'll die trying. An AI Doctor For Every Human - Health for All.
