About us

CodyMD is the most fun you'll have practicing medicine. No forms, no scheduling, no phone tag, no waiting room. CodyMD is a doctor-owned telehealth practice from the ZoomCare founders. Patients and clinicians share one chat, with an AI assistant that takes the history and packages each case. Our nurse practitioners review, decide and prescribe in that chat. You're the physician in their corner.

The work

Be the doctor our nurse practitioners can tap. Sign the practice agreements their states require, answer the occasional consult in the chat, look over a sample of charts, and join short check-ins with the NPs. The medicine is clean: acute, low-complexity visits and refills, including non-controlled mental health medications under a written policy. No controlled substances. No patient panel. No call. You'll see how an AI-first practice actually runs, from the inside.

Availability

Pick the shifts that fit your life. Our NPs see patients seven days a week, 7 AM–7 PM in the states we serve; during a shift you're reachable in the platform, from wherever you are. Chart review whenever you like.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in California, Florida, Texas or Ohio. Board certification in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine. Experience supervising or collaborating with nurse practitioners.

Pay

Independent contractor. Paid per shift. Malpractice included. Rate provided upon application receipt.
